Irrasshaimase! Welcome! So far as I know this is THE FIRST Christian fansite for the lovely Japanese singer/songwriter カノン (Kanon), who is actually a Christian – a RARE find in Japan.  Kanon specializes in the classical crossover genre, so if you like someone such as Sarah Brightman or Hayley Westenra (like me), you’ll absolutely love her!  She’s also released covers for traditional English hymns and written a few Christian songs herself.

I’ve been meaning to start this site AGES ago, but I’m usually busy with school as well as maintaining my other sites. That said, let me just make a few things clear from the start:

• I will focus on Kanon’s Christian songs, most of which are in English, and relate them to my personal spiritual walk.  But this site definitely isn’t entirely limited to her Christian songs.  The purpose of this site is, after all, to increase awareness of this amazing yet underrated artist!
• I am NOT a professional or experienced reviewer/writer.  So, sorry if you’re looking for beautiful descriptive language and flowing transitions!
• I will NOT post any news/appearance updates (other than release info) from Kanon’s website. This site will be used to promote her past and upcoming releases.
• I will only post songs with English lyrics or lyrics that have been translated into English.
• NO DIRECT DOWNLOAD LINKS WILL BE PROVIDED. Please support Kanon by purchasing her works.
• Last but not least, I’m not really sure how long I can keep this site running, but I will try my best to update when I can. NO PROMISES on how often, though!
